$80 IS ALL IT TAKES

$80 is all it takes to support one under-privileged child's education for a year in some of the poorest areas of India and Bangladesh.

On our first trip to India and Bangladesh we were surprised to learn that the cost to send one child to school for one year was only $80. This covers the costs of books, writing instruments with a portion being allocated to modest teacher salaries and classroom school maintenance costs. While $80 is not nothing for us personally we thought that this was an amount that working adults in developed countries, like our native Canada and US, could easily afford.

Our community service organization model was born.
